These terms apply when you use Wellesley Residents Directory. By continuing to use the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Nature of This Service

Wellesley Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections connected with Wellesley, Massachusetts residents and former residents. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with the Town of Wellesley, Norfolk County, a court, or any other custodian.

2. Permitted Use

Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use the site or material reached through it to:

  • Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or injure another person

  • Make an FCRA-regulated credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or similar decision

  • Disrupt the service's operation or security

3. No Consumer-Reporting Service

Wellesley Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Nothing on this site or returned through a linked search tool is a consumer report, and none of it may be used to assess eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.

4. External Resources

Official portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own policies and terms. We do not control or accept responsibility for their content, availability, pricing, or data practices.

5. No Guarantee

This service is offered "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that its information is accurate, complete, or current, or that an external portal will function or return correct results.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this service or an external resource, including decisions based on records found through either.

7. Your Responsibility for Misuse

You agree to indemnify and hold the site's operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

8. Copyrighted Material

The original writing, design, logo, and layout on this site are protected by copyright. You may link to its pages and quote short excerpts with attribution, but may not republish full pages or systematically copy the content.

9. Revisions to These Terms

We can revise these terms by placing an updated version here. Using the service after a revision constitutes acceptance.

10. Restricting Access

We may restrict or block access, without notice and at our discretion, for a user who violates these terms or misuses the service.

11. Massachusetts Law

Massachusetts law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record access by a custodian is separately controlled by the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66 §10, the definition in M.G.L. c.4 §7 cl.26, and 950 CMR 32.00.

12. If a Term Is Invalid
